Typically, all paperwork can be signed in one appointment, and the process takes about two weeks after conditions are met. Sale proceeds are usually available 2 to 4 weeks post-Possession Date. Ensure final utility readings are arranged, and maintain house insurance until after receiving sale proceeds. Keys should be given to the Buyer on or before the Possession Date.
